Traditional demining involves a person with a metal detector slowly walking through a minefield – an extremely slow and dangerous process. 4M Defense takes a radically different approach. Their Land Intelligence Platform system combines three phases:

1. AI-Enabled Land Intelligence Software
The heart of the entire system. An AI-powered software platform that processes data from cameras, thermal imagers, ground-penetrating radars (GPR), and laser scanning (LiDAR). AI seeks out hidden patterns invisible to the human eye – slightly disturbed soil, specific thermal signatures of metals and plastics underground.

2. Airborne Mine Detection Systems
Sensor kits (payloads) designed for mounting on unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). They contain hyperspectral cameras and magnetometers. Drones can fly over mined areas and remotely locate surface and deeply buried mines and unexploded ordnance (UXO) from the air without physical contact.

3. Robotic Demining Solutions
Autonomous systems for remote excavation and neutralization of mines. 4M Defense integrates its sensors and remote controls onto heavy engineering platforms – demining tanks, armored excavators, and diggers. These machines can then completely on their own or via remote control traverse the most complex terrain and mechanically detonate or excavate mines.

4. Sensor Fusion Kits
