DESCRIPTION

NRBC suit AVEC-MS-1 and mask OM-90 – a set developed by AVEC CHEM.

The AVEC-MS-2 broad-spectrum suit protects the skin and mucous membranes against toxic and infectious agents - including all known NRBC toxic agents (vapours, gases, aerosols, contaminated dust). It is supplied with an OM-90 gas mask (including one filter cartridge), gloves and boot covers. All components of the set comply with NATO and ISO 6940:2004 standards (flame resistance).

Ideal for NRBC defense, combat and rescue operations - depending on the logistical and decontamination capacities of the organization - the kit can be stored, washed, decontaminated and used for a long time, without reducing the level of protection (within the specified limits).

NRBC suit AVEC-MS-2 and mask OM-90 – complete set: suit, mask, filter, sleeves and gloves.

Composition:

  • Jacket with double closure - waist fastening - with hood and glove attachment

  • Trousers – waist fastening and leg cuff fastening

Technical data:

  • Activated carbon filtration – carbon beads

  • Meets NATO standards for NRBC protection

  • Minimum wearing time: 30 days

  • Minimum 10 washes at 40°C without loss of protective properties

  • Minimum shelf life: 10 years (in original packaging and under appropriate conditions)

  • Flame resistance according to ISO 6940:2004 – maintained even after 5 washes

Design features:

  • Fully ergonomic and very lightweight (2.3-2.5 kg)

  • Front zipper covered by a special flap for easy dressing and increased protection

  • Integrated hood – compatible with most NRBC masks

  • Elastic loops at the ends of the sleeves – adjustable size

Outer material:

  • Composition: 65% cotton + 35% polyester

  • Weight: 175 ± 15 g/m²

  • Tensile strength (ISO 13934-1): warp min. 950 N, weft min. 500 N

  • Tear resistance (ISO 13937-1): warp min. 22 N, weft min. 18 N

  • Water resistance (spray test EN 244920): initially min. 5, after 5 washes min. 4

  • Hydrocarbon test (AATCC 118-2013): initially min. 6, after 5 washes min. 4

  • Air permeability (ISO 9237): min. 250 mm/s at 100 Pa

  • Non-flammability according to ISO 6940:2004 confirmed

  • Colors: various camouflage patterns, olive green, sand, black, dark blue, white

Inner layer:

  • Material: inner layer with firmly attached hard spherical grains of activated carbon (200 ± 15 g/m²)

  • Ball diameter: 0.4–0.7 mm

  • Even distribution of coal: max. distance between balls 1 mm

  • Layers: Rachel Warp knit fabric next to the skin, PA/PES non-woven outer layer

  • Weight of protective filter layer: 345 ± 30 g/m²

  • Mechanical properties (ISO 13934-1): tensile 350 ± 50 N

  • Vapor test (HD, 11 mg/m³, 80% RH, 30°C, 6 h): penetration validated

  • Diffusion penetration HD (10 g/m², 24 h, 80% RH, 30 °C): validated

  • CC14 absorption capacity: min. 2.0 mg/cm²

  • Penetration of methyl salicylate: no penetration within 1 hour according to M8/M9

  • Washing: reusable with protection maintained after at least 10 washes according to ISO 6330

  • Shrinkage after 1 wash: max. 2%

OM-90 mask:

  • Two 40 mm NATO threads – allow connection of two filter cartridges simultaneously or connection to a respirator

It must not be used:

  • In an environment with an oxygen content of less than 19.5% - in which case an isolating breathing apparatus is required

  • In an explosive environment higher than class 01 (see European/ATEX classification – zone 01)

  • If possible, no beards or long hair – to ensure tightness
