Modular solution for search and EOD operations

United Shield International introduces Hawker Excel, a cutting-edge solution for search and EOD operations, powered by world-class manufacturing technologies and a commitment to continually delivering the latest in protective clothing innovation. The name ‘Hawker’ commemorates 100 years since the end of the First World War and the founding of the Royal Air Force (RAF). Inspired by Captain Lanoe Hawker VC, an officer in the Royal Engineers, the name is a symbol of timeless innovation and an extraordinary commitment to excellence that continues to this day.

The Hawker Excel is a high-performance EOD platform designed on a modular principle, which allows the operator to choose between expansion options and flexible use of the suit for both search and disposal operations (EOD). The suit can be deployed in the Search Suit (SS) variant for search, or as a full-fledged EOD Suit (ES), both variants can be easily upgraded at any time. The user has the opportunity to choose from various types of helmets, visors, accessories and configurations of soft and hard ballistic protection according to the current needs of the operation.

Designed based on operator feedback
Hawker Excel is the result of over 15 years of carefully collecting and using feedback directly from operators in the fields of mine clearance, search and EOD operations.

Fragmentation
The suit allows you to choose the level of ballistic protection according to world standards. Thanks to the most modern materials, including traditional aramid and the latest generation of special fibers, each variant is independently tested for maximum safety.

Resistance to overpressure
Hawker Excel provides advanced blast protection, confirmed by independent tests.

Operational capabilities and mobility
The operator can choose from a variety of levels of protection through solid ballistic panels, from standard 10"x12" dimensions with NIJ Level III or IV protection to special extended protective plates protecting the neck and groin area. The protective plates can be attached only just before the action begins, reducing operator fatigue before the operation. The panels can be easily removed and re-attached directly in the field, giving the operator maximum mobility and the ability to overcome obstacles with minimal effort.

Expansion and upgrade options
Thanks to the modular design and a wide selection of accessories, the operator can flexibly plan budgets and adapt the suit's protection to current needs and future technological innovations.

RESTRICTIONS ON THE SALE OF BALLISTIC PROTECTION

Dear customers, based on EU legislation we are obliged to restrict the sale of ballistic protection. We only sell ballistic protection to:

• Ballistic protection plates IV and higher - for holders of the ACR or PČR service card
• Ballistic protection up to IIIa - for holders of the service card of the Czech Army, the Czech Police, holders of ZP B, D, E

The product is designed and manufactured primarily for use in security forces (Police, Army, IZS units) or for use by people involved in ensuring public order (Municipal Police, established state reserves) or for self-defense. The product is not categorized as PPE, therefore it cannot be used for activities other than the above, in particular it cannot be used for sports activities or for performing security guard activities.
